With the new school year starting, we also start up our Bible studies at church again. So privileged to study with these ladies. Eager to see how the Lord will change us as we learn more of Him. |
"By the Brook" is the English translation of the German word "Biedebach". 'He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water...' Psalm 1:3

"Dis so lekker op die plaas"
Our dear friends invited several folk from our church over to their home for a delicious lunch. |
These gentlemen have known each other for many years. They both grew up in Zimbabwe. |
They are extremely comfortable with each other, trying to steal each other's food and the like! |
Now our kids want a real tree house like Boetie's. |
We had planned on camping in our friends' yard and had fun doing it. |
Going for a walk, 'sonder skoene' to see Oom's cattle. |
We had a fun bonfire. |
Ami said the glare was a bit bright:) |
We didn't have the greatest night's rest, but the experience was all worth it. |
The next day we went to visit some other friends who live on another farm in Namitete. They have several pets and our kids loved playing with and petting them all. |
This was our favourite piggy. Loved his markings. |
