Tea Time

We love our rooibos tea, especially when there's a biscuit/cookie and a crunchie to go with it!

"Dis so lekker op die plaas"

Our dear friends invited several folk from our church over to their home for a delicious lunch.

These gentlemen have known each other for many years. They both grew up in Zimbabwe.

They are extremely comfortable with each other, trying to steal each other's food and the like!

Now our kids want a real tree house like Boetie's.

We had planned on camping in our friends' yard and had fun doing it.

Going for a walk, 'sonder skoene' to see Oom's cattle.

We had a fun bonfire.

Ami said the glare was a bit bright:)

We didn't have the greatest night's rest, but the experience was all worth it.

The next day we went to visit some other friends who live on another farm in Namitete. They have several pets and our kids loved playing with and petting them all.

This was our favourite piggy. Loved his markings.

'Mazing Mud

These boys are building some kind of amazing mud tunnel with a cool water transportation system. We love AFRICA!

Picnic

A picnic in the yard helps to makes a fun change in our day.

Ami decided to practice her braiding/french plaiting. She is getting there.

The kids found some covered sponge and had turns pushing each other on the tyre/tire swing. Tyre for our British English friends and tire for our American English friends:)

Pumice

That's what you get when you don't wear shoes. My African babies-love them.The only thing that works to get them somewhat clean is a good scrub with a pumice stone.

Socks

Our friends have some very interesting pets and we enjoy going to visit them to see what new animals they have adopted. Socks is their new pot-belly pig and he is rather large!

Hot Chocolate

We were out with our neighbours, having hot chocolate, because it's winter:) and we're in t-shirts and shorts. Love Malawian winters.
