Early Bird Wishers

Ami is turning 9! The early bird well wishers are ready.

An added extra special treat is when Nanny can be in Malawi to celebrate with us!

Allison's Chum

Radio ABC

Olivia Mgusha is a Communications student at African Bible College and she asked Ami and Bradley if they would like to help her with her kids' program today.  So while Brian took them down to the studio, Allison, Ben and I tuned in and heard them live.

Lunch with Friends

We had a delicious Malawian meal with our friends, the Kamnkhwanis.  Our kids love nsima and beans and we try to eat it about once a week.  The best part is we get to eat with our hands.  The Kamnkhwanis attend our church here in Lilongwe.

Netball

I no longer coach the ABC Netball Team, but miss it terribly. I encouraged some of the other staff members to play in a staff team against the students, just for fun. We had a couple of sessions before the game so that I could teach the Americans the rules.

We were really thankful that Jane, Mala, Fannie M, Chisomo and Fannie G could join us. Malawians love netball and are very good at it. They are ranked about 5th or 6th in the world.  I am so thankful for all Jeff White has done for the students with regard to improving the sport of netball at ABC. His wife, bottom right, is an amazing athlete and caught onto the game very quickly. The new coach for ABC netball is Jane Chimaliro, she is a Malawi Queens national team player. YAY!

Women's Bible Study

With the new school year starting, we also start up our Bible studies at church again. So privileged to study with these ladies. Eager to see how the Lord will change us as we learn more of Him.
