A time of prayer.
This is Tom Hatter! Tom and his wife, Lisa have joined us for the third time on medical team trips. We love you guys.

Our kids last had Monterey Jack Cheese about 18 months ago and certainly don't remember what it tastes like. However, they happily munched away at it when a member of the medical team brought us some all the way from CA.
Our friends, the Beebes, sent us fruit leathers which the kids have never tasted. Of course, when they did, they loved them and wanted more. Needless to say they are being rationed!

This team is from our church in Sun Valley, CA. They are 26 medical professionals who have come to do rural village ministry. They will see to the physical needs of the people by having mobile clinics. Their desire is to reach these village folk with the truth of the Gospel and are praying for opportunities to share Christ. We hope too, that they will be an encouragement to the congregation at our church.
This is Philip Chang. He is a medical doctor. He attends the same Bible Study we do, when we are on furlough. It is so great to see him!

This is Merrychris. She is a registered nurse. 
Today we had all the workers who have built our house and their families join us for tea. We wanted to say thank you to them for all their hard work and also have their families see what they have done.

Some of these workers have started attending International Bible Fellowship Church. Kondwani, who is a Malawian Pastor at our church, is helping to minister to these people in their own language.
Today we had some friends come over to do some fun activities. We sang, read a story and then played with play dough.
Daddy took a break from his office and played some with us outside too.
This is my friend, Jadyn. Her family has lived in Malawi for seven years. Her parents work with orphans.
Daddy is pretending that we're on a ship ride-it's kinda like being at Disneyland!
What a blessing it is for us to have friends!

We were out in the very dusty backyard this week and the kids decided to use the Malawian-made wooden scaffolding as a jungle gym. I was so amazed at the fun they were having. They didn't need the newest and nicest equipment. They made do with what was available and had a ball! 
Here, Ami was selling me some chicken. She found an old bag in the dirt and then filled it with dirt. It's no wonder she told me I could buy it for free.
Then they decided to play house. Ami is knocking at the door.
Bradley says, "Oh it's so good to see you, Ami. Come in, come in!"
