Alli's week

Praise the Lord, I am feeling much better than last week and hopefully I'll go from strength to strength. I am so thankful to have felt better, because Alli had a really rough week. She woke up on Tuesday morning with a high fever. She was moaning and so we took her for a malaria test. It was negative. She continued with very high fevers and was lethargic. Eventually she saw a Nkhoma Hospital doctor who suspected a viral infection, but we monitored her closely because sometimes malaria "hides". This afternoon her fever came down. It's still not normal but at least it finally broke. We missed her smiling face around here and Lord willing, she'll be herself soon.
